Remember the job you had in highschool? The guy that you thought you would marry but he broke you heart? The car you blew up because you didn't understand the value of an oil change? (Oops!) They are all of significance to you, your life, and the journey of what will become. How you use these moments and lessons are for you to decide- but they ALL MATTER.
If you didn't get fired from the job you thought was "meant for you" how would you end up where you are today? The job you have today where people see your value and have rewarded you with praise and raises!
One of my favorite quotes (which I have framed and hung in the house), "You never know the value of a moment, until it becomes a memory" Theodor Seuss Giesel, is a constant reminder to take stock in those moments.
Now I am not advising you to live in the past or to not feel all the feels when something doesn't go your way but I am suggesting you acknowledge- all things are relevant. Try to take in all the moments of your life, good and bad, breathe them in and remember they are just small pieces of time that lead you to the next step.
Everything that is meant for you will be yours.
